Modern Furniture Design in Iconic Buildings of NYC

520 West 28th Street by Zaha Hadid

The complex of residences at 520 West 28th is a representation of Zaha Hadid's conception of contemporary living. She applies a dramatic elegance and careful consideration to the interiors while staying true to her own architectural language, concentrating on minor details that represent the overall experience of the structure.

Interiors of the model residence designed by the AD Top 100 awarded interior designer Jennifer Post serve to both emphasize Hadid's work and, in a way, soften it for use in daily life. Post's intention was to create an interior that "coexists with the vision of one of architecture's greatest minds" With that vision in mind, the sample apartment is furnished with vivid shades of white and neutral tones, with pops of color added by modern furniture and artwork. The living room’s seating area is supplied by our most popular sectional sofa collections: Mony Sofa and Met Modular Sofa.

Central Park Tower

The tallest residential tower ever built is the result of more than ten years of planning and collaboration between architects Adrian Smith and Gordon Gill Architecture, the leading experts in supertall architecture. The façade, which is elegant and recognizable, reflects a dynamic spectrum of color and light as the sun moves across the surface of the building.

Lazzoni debuts its previously unseen products for this project, all of which are specially made for the modern look of the duplex home. In this project, the newest Milda Modular sofa modules make their grand debut, providing modern solutions for large gatherings. Light-colored seating modules continue the Grand Salon's overall openness, while the burnt orange accent chairs from the Arte armchair collection offer a lively touch. As a result of the perfect harmony of reflective and transparent surfaces in table units, floor to ceiling windows optimize views and light in the home. The glass accent and coffee tables are present in the living room, but the delicately carved ceramic dining table steals the show amongst the modern furniture of the elaborately designed room.

The Copper

One of the most magnificent structures in NYC or maybe the entire country of America is the American Copper Building. The architects' and constructors' choice of material gave The Copper its moniker. To give it character that will change and evolve with NYC, they chose to depart from the conventional and expected glass facade.

The project includes centerpieces like Mony Sofa, Ada Armchair, Terra Table, Istanbul Bed and many more pieces.

One57

One57 was the initiative that gave rise to Billionaire's Row. Designed by the architect Christian de Portzamparc, One57 held the record for the most expensive home ever sold in the city until January 2019 with the sale of a Bt3.2 billion (US$100.5 million) residence, and it was also the tallest residential building in NYC when it opened in 2014.

The luxury condo in this exclusive building was curated by Lazzoni's masterly interior designers to create the best-fitting interiors with modern furniture that reflect the glory of the iconic building.

Modern pieces from the collections like the Fibonacci coffee table, the Grace bar, the Lena armchair, and the Enda pouf blend in beautifully with well-known Lazzoni classics like the Gola sofa, the Terra table, the Pietra console, and the Armada chair, as well as the custom TV unit that was made just for the condo.

20 Greene Street Soho

Located in the center of SoHo, 20 Greene Street is a genuine, 7-story edifice. Initially built as a warehouse in 1880, the structure was designed by architect Samuel Warner and built with cast iron structural columns and a finely embellished cast iron façade. The building is a part of the SoHo Cast Iron District, which the Landmarks Preservation Commission named in 1973. The restoration and conversion of 20 Greene into a condominium in 2000 preserved the building's 19th-century architectural authenticity. It features 10 opulent individual units and 2 commercial spaces.

The talented interior designers of the Lazzoni Chelsea store designed the luxurious apartment in this prestigious building. Alongside an extending sofa to relieve the tiredness throughout the day, an ottoman is placed in front of Mony Sofa. Pale white colors are used for the fabric of the sofa to give the sofa a more spacious and bright look. A parallel color pallet is preferred for the modern furniture of the bedroom to create harmony across the entire house.
